While a child is an out-of-home care placement, such as foster care, it is important to maintain connections with their birth family. Parent-child visits are an effective strategy to accomplish this and to work toward family reunification.

Lorene's Place II coordinates family visits. Visitation transporters or visitation supervisors typically drive children to and from family visits and supervise visits to ensure the child's safety.

Case managers arrange and oversee family visits to ensure the safety of the child at all times. The safety and welfare of the child is always of the utmost importance.
